PowerPoint presentations bring visual impact to your data and provide a number of features to captivate your audience. Users can now manipulate their presentations uploaded at Amazon S3 Storage using Saaspose.Slides REST API. Previously, we have explained how to integrate Amazon S3 storage with Saaspose File Format APIs. You can work on various aspects of presentations by uploading them at storage and incorporating the required features supported by Saaspose.Slides API. You can save a presentation uploaded at Amazon S3 storage to other formats. You can also convert a slide uploaded at Amazon S3 Storage to image with default size. Saaspose.Slides allows you to delete all slides from a presentation uploaded at Amazon S3 Storage and you may choose to get PowerPoint document slide count uploaded at Amazon S3 storage. Similarly, you can extract shapes from a particular slide uploaded at Amazon S3 storage by using Saaspose.Slides in your applications. Saaspose.Slides offers to get image count from a presentation uploaded at Amazon S3 storage. You can also extract text items from a presentation or a slide uploaded at Amazon S3 storage. Integrate Google Drive Storage & Manipulate Many File Formats in Cloud

What’s new in this release?
Saaspose development team is very happy to announce the Google Drive Storage Integration with Saaspose File Format REST API. Saaspose offers a complete set of solution for your document processing requirements. It provides the platform to create, edit and manipulate your documents in the cloud. You can upload your files on Saaspose storage and use Saaspose REST API URIs to perform multiple operations on these files. Whether it’s features of the APIs or support for 3rd party platforms, Saaspose has always put efforts to meet its user’s requirements. Previously, we had introduced Amazon S3 Storage and DropBox Storage to add flexibility of using these storage options. We are pleased to announce that Google Drive Storage is now integrated with Saaspose File Format REST APIs. You can integrate your current Google Drive account with Saaspose cloud API. You can configure the Google Drive storage with Saaspose through our web interface in no time. Firstly, you need to create an application at Google Drive and get the “Cilent ID” and “Client secret”. Then sign in at Saaspose and open “My Storage”, select “Google Drive Storage” from “Create New Storage” list on Saaspose.
On “Create Google Drive Storage” page, provide the required data in the fields. You need to provide “Cilent ID” and “Client secret”, and then click “Generate Token” to fill in rest of the fields. Now save the form and enjoy using Google Drive storage with Saaspose API. Saaspose file format APIs offer a variety of features that you can use in your applications. You can easily access the files uploaded on Google Drive storage and process the documents in the cloud. You can upload your document including MS word documents and extract text, extract images, execute mail merge or add watermarks using Saaspose.Words API. Saaspose APIs allow you to work with different file formats such as .doc, PDF, xls, xlsx, jpeg, tiff, png etc. With integration of 3rd party platforms with Saapose APIs, you can continue using services of external storage providers and keep your files with other storage provides. What’s new in this release?
Workbooks are used to organize and analyze different kind of data quickly and efficiently. There can be multiple worksheets in a workbook that help to organize the data in much better way. A workbook may contain a variety of objects such as auto shapes, charts, ole objects, pictures, etc. You can convert different objects in a worksheet to image using Saaspose.Cells REST API. You can convert auto shapes in a workbook to images and save the images for further use. You can also convert single or multiple charts to images using Saaspose.Cells. You can choose a specific chart from a worksheet to be converted to an image. Saaspose.Cells provides the liberty to manipulate the objects of the worksheets and provides solutions to meet your document manipulation requirements. Using these features, you can convert ole object to image with efficient and quick results. An ole object may contain different types of external objects and Saaspose.Cells supports the conversion of such objects to images in no time. Saaspose.PDF offers a set of features that allow you to manage links of PDF files. There might be scenarios to extract links from a PDF file and use those links as required. Saaspose.Pdf eliminates the need of any complex tasks involved in links extraction from PDF files. It supports to extract all links, extract specific link from a page and get links count in PDF file. You can extract all links from a page in PDF file using Saaspose.PDF REST API. It also allows you to extract selected links from a PDF file, i.e. you can opt for specific link extraction without any hassle. You can also get the number of links in a PDF file through Saaspose.Pdf. You can utilize our SDK and REST examples to manage links of PDF files in the cloud. Extract Images from Word, Excel, PowerPoint & PDF Files Using REST APIs

Saaspose development team is proud to announce the new release of Saaspose.Pdf. This new release allows merging multiple PDF documents using REST API. You can merge multiple PDF files into a single document using Saaspose.PDF REST API. All you need to do is upload all the input files on Saaspose Storage and execute this feature. Once the files are merged, you can download the merged PDF file from Saaspose Storage. Similarly, you can append multiple PDF files using Saaspose.Pdf REST API in your applications. You can also append PDF files by specifying the page ranges i.e. start and end ranges of the document. You can quickly merge several PDF documents into a single PDF file and share it across any platform. Saaspose provides the support for uploading PDF files on other storage servers as well such as Amazon S3 and Dropbox. Integrate Dropbox Storage with Saaspose APIs & Process PDF, Docs, Images

Saaspose development team is very happy to announce the Dropbox Storage Integration with Saaspose File Format REST API. Previously, we had introduced support for Amazon S3 storage to integrate your existing Amazon S3 account with Saaspose cloud API. Saaspose has added the flexibility of third party storage options so that you can choose from these as per your requirements. We are pleased to announce that Saaspose has provided support for Dropbox storage to store your files in the cloud. You can easily configure the Dropbox storage with Saaspose through simple steps in no time. First of all, you need to create an application at Dropbox and get the “App Key” and “App Secret”. Then sign in at Saaspose and Open “My Storage”, select “Dropbox Storage” from “Create New Storage” list on Saaspose. It takes you to “Create Dropbox Storage” where you need to provide the required data in the fields. Once you provide the “App Key” and “App Secret”, click “Generate Token” to fill in rest of the fields. Now save the form and enjoy using Dropbox storage with Saaspose API.

The files uploaded on Dropbox storage can be accessed easily and you can process the files accordingly. October 2012 Edition of Saaspose.Newsletter is Out Now

Saaspose Newsletter for October 2012 has now been published that highlights all newly added information, exciting new features & informative blogs about Saaspose APIs & SDKs. This month Saaspose.Words, Saaspose.Pdf & Saaspose.Barcode have introduced new features for managing document properties of Workbooks, Word documents & PDF files.
